"Yeah, I know that now." Yosuke's tone was defensive and bordering on pissy. Normally, he tried to get off on a better foot with people -- especially scary old dudes, who looked like they would have zero trouble pummeling him into a smooth paste -- but he was tired, his head hurt, and just about everything going on in his life right now was pretty unacceptable. The energy and effort he liked to put into making himself look like the pinnacle of generosity, humor, and graciousness was simply not present.
